Find the right law school for you!
XploreJD by AccessLex® is a free, online search tool offering aspiring law students – like you – a data-based approach to finding law schools that best meet their criteria.
By answering questions for five primary factors in the law school decision-making process—Location, Cost, Academic and Student Experience, Diversity and Outcomes—and prioritizing the attributes that will most impact your decision, you can build a list of potential law school options that fit what you want and need in your law school experience.
You’ll see where you and each law school matched and get detailed profiles that include: published tuition and fees, first-time bar passage rates, total 1L enrollment, and much more. You can even compare school data side-by-side.
XploreJD isn’t just about getting a list of law schools. We’ve created XploreJD as a learning experience — a first step in your journey to informed decisions and law school success.
At AccessLex Institute®, we encourage all students to take into account their goals, needs and preferences, and consider key factors like:
a school's job placement rate;
scholarship opportunities;
specialized program opportunities;
environmental factors – like a school's location, size and diversity;
and, more.
Fit is critical. You don't want your decision to be reduced to a single test or school ranking. After all, you're more than a score.
Note: XploreJD law school match results are not a prediction of a student’s acceptance, nor a guarantee of a student’s fit. Rather, the tool provides students the opportunity to learn more about schools they may not have been aware of or otherwise considered.
Methodology
XploreJD is created with publicly available general and school-specific data, and results are determined by a proprietary algorithm. Data sources include:
